These are projects and pieces of work I have done in my own time as a hobby, or things that I've done for others that don't belong in the 'Work' section.

CGI Gallery

As part of a user-interface orientated course at University our project was to build a photo album using CGI, which was written Python. The photo album allowed users to login to the system, upload photos, add comments to photos and write diary entries.

I simplified and improved the photo album script when my parents went on a trip to Europe so it would function as a photo gallery. This provided a means for other family members to view my parent's digital photos and made it easier for me to optimise new photos for the internet and upload the images without needing to write additional HTML.

For this portfolio I re-worked the CGI script to make use of CSS for layout and produce validated XHTML code. The gallery contains 3 pages of images and photographs to demonstrate the script and some of my experiences with Photoshop:

SUAnime Publicity

During 2004 I was the Publicity Director for the Sydney University Anime Society (SUAnime). Part of my job was to design pamphlets and posters that explained the club to new or potential members and advertised events organised by the club. I've included a few samples of the design work I did, please note that all characters and graphics are owned by their respective authors/companies.
